This is who we are and what we stand for

Gobarefoot.ae was founded in 2021. We are two mums just like you: we’ve walked in your shoes and want the best for our children. We think outside the “shoe box” and love to inspire. We are empathetic, natural, and supportive in every step. We wiggle our toes and want you and your kids to do the same, because we believe in foot health and happy feet.

At GoBarefoot, we envision a world where every step promotes well-being. We want to inspire the movement of foot health awareness, transforming personal wellness and community health across the GCC, one step at a time.

We understand the frustration parents face with an endless time-consuming search for good shoes for their children. We are two mums empowering natural movement lifestyle by offering the world’s best barefoot shoes for children in the GCC, combining healthy foot development, comfort and style in lifestyle brand.

Meet the GoBarefoot Team

Eva

After several years of working on different E-commerce projects, in 2012 I decided to retrain as a postnatal fitness trainer and a health coach working with mums.

While being on a maternity leave with my two children I learned back in Slovakia (where I come from) about the benefits of kids walking barefoot or in barefoot shoes. I fell in love with this approach and I decided to encourage more parents in UAE and the whole GCC to GoBarefoot too.

Martina

I have been living in UAE with my family since 2013 and I’m a mum of two. Throughout the years being based here I have started a successful photography business.

I was always passionate about new healthy trends for kids and nice designs. After my second child was born I completely fell in love with the barefoot shoes for children and decided to co-found the GoBarefoot.ae with Eva.
